:te:

This is based on the Flying Steeds with Scroll [3/5] script.

Quote
Non-Scripter [2/5]
Beginner [2/5]
Advanced Scripter [1/5]
Expert [1/5]
Pro Scripter [1/5]

Code:

Place this script in a new case in ScriptedItems:
Code: [Select]
Dim avertixa
        avertixa = GetVar("Steed.ini",GetPlayerName(index),"Steed")
        If avertixa = 1 Then
            Call PlayerMsg(index, "You are on a steed already.", 12)
        Else
            Call PutVar("Steed.ini",GetPlayerName(index),"Steed",1)
            Call PutVar("Steed.ini",GetPlayerName(index),"Sprite",GetPlayerSprite(index)
            Call SetPlayerSprite(index, GetVar("SteedConfig2.ini","Config","SteedSprite"))
        End If

Place this in a hotkey:
Code: [Select]
Dim avertixa
        avertixa = GetVar("Steed.ini",GetPlayerName(index),"Steed")
        If avertixa = 0 Then
            Call PlayerMsg(index, "You aren't on a steed.", 12)
        Else
            Call PutVar("Steed.ini",GetPlayerName(index),"Steed",0)
            Call SetPlayerSprite(index, GetVar("Steed.ini",GetPlayerName(index),"Sprite"))
        End If

Create an INI called "SteedConfig.ini" (without the "")
Place the next in it:
SteedConfig2.ini
Code: [Select]
[Config]
SteedSprite=%

Replace % with the sprite which is a steed. you can only use numbers if you don't know it :P.

Done.

Function:
This lets players ride on steeds player will be on steed when using scroll and when pressing hotkey the player will go off, like in SilkRoad. The only bad thing is steeds can only be so big as the players so 32x64 or 32x32.

Credits:
The Credits go to me, Godlord.
No posting this script somewhere else without my permission.
No stealing nor remodifying(Which happened before).

Any questions or suggestions please post them here. No flaming please.

Hi two things:

1. Where are the hotkeys? In the main.txt? I can't find them there! Is there some script I need to add? (BTW I'm using TE)
2. Where do I put Steed.ini?

Can you give an example of what the steed should look like, you can place a watermark or save it as a jpeg if you dont want any one stealing yours. But do they like go over the sprite, under it or what?

yeah, like if you want to ride a tiny animal that's probably not big enough to carry you XD

hotkeys are found in main under the Subs HOTSCRIPT#

# being 1-4, 1 = PgUp, 2 = Del, 3 = End, 4 = PgDown

Simple, but effective :) Another job well done :D

Might make my own via source (higher speed etc).
