Okay, I posted the same topic before...but it was locked. most likely because I was out of state. and I found out, I forgot to post any of my Screenshots. So here are a few. I haven't mastered Blending yet, I'll need a bit more practice.

They aren't the best, but in my eyes they're okay. I didn't post here for Criticism, so please no 'omfg, that's horrible man, get lost' please. These are only my first few map's I've made. (yes, I DO realize that I should probably practice more with it before looking for a job, but I'd like to talk with people as I work on these maps.)

I don't have alot to offer, just similar maps like these if made from scratch, but also, I can do GREAT touch-ups. I was told by somebody that I did a better job with touch-ups than with making them from scratch. (but then she said I was good with making maps too, I'm just BETTER with touch-ups)

I'm good with following rules (of course, who isn't? ) and I don't take advantage of mapping (aka: making a spawn point for my personal gain, as in giving myself rare item-drops.)

I'm not very good with scripting...I really haven't done it before.
I can make good NPC's and monsters with Fair (but not too good) drops. (usually taking the monster's level and multiplying by two for gold drops. and making it like a 1 in 15 chance of getting that.)

I don't NEED a Moderator or Admin position, I have all I need with just mapping. I just think that Admin positions are more fun.

Pretty much saying:
 Give me rules, ill follow them
 Give me limits/boundaries, I won't push them
 Give me work, I'll finish it
 Give me a mapper position, cause you need one

I love how you put everything and your telling the truth, unlike putting on a show then someone getting stuck with some little twirp with so skill.

Suggestion though: Not really sure how to classify the title of 'Admin' so you might want to drop that.

Thanks, always good to hear a complement. I was afraid the first dozen or so posts would be so rude, or pointless, to where it got to the point where the topic was closed because of it. lol, ok, a little too dramatic lol. but I thought they're would be quite a few rude ones xD. of course not a whole lot have posted. It's good to know that the first post is a complement. (with suggestion =D)
I guess I should drop the (Admin) above my name, I just had that part in there so people could recognize me in the game xD. and thanks for wishing me luck, I'll probably need it =D

Good job man, if you want to get better, check out soljah's tuts... if you read up and post your best maps, you will definitely find a good team. just don't be quick on joining a team...

Well, I did as you said and looks through soljah's tutorials. They've helped I think. Idk, ask codemeister if theres a positive difference in the screenshots posted, and the ones in that game. Thanks for the advice. Very helpful.

nah, I just left a few things on fringe...I'm talking about detail wise, I've gotten better...lol.

of course, I've been practicing on my game as well, ever since I TOOK those screenshots. notice the difference of detail between 1 and 3 (other than the fact that ones snow xD) 3 looks better.
