Q. What is "Splash Damage"?
A. Splash Damage means that it also hits any others nearby, causing 1/2 the damage roll from the initial target.
Q. What should I be careful about?
A. The Predator has a weapon called the Netgun. Net Guns will kill a target after 3 turns, if it hits. The net pins the target to the ground and renders them immobile. Although, they can still break out, if they role a successful escape (1d20 - roll 17 or higher). Also, try to attack in numbers, so that fire-focus isn’t focussed solely on you. Lastly, invest in a Full Helmet to avoid being facehugged.

Quick Reference on Levelling Up as a Human
When a human levels up, he can spend 3 points on his Build, aswell as 1 Ability Point.
Every two points in a Build will increase a certain Statistic. Attack builds start at 0, Defence builds start at 5.
Humans start with 20HP, and gain 15HP every level up.

Building a Base as a Human
I don't think it would be fair of me not to allow you to build bases, defendable positions on-planet, but there are a few rules to this.
The first is, you can't build a base on a heavily colonized world.
Bases need materials to build. Materials will need to be transported to the location from the merchant. Material Merchants can only be found in heavily colonzed worlds.
Also, don't do this unless you're making an outpost, a home, needs-to-be-defended-position, or if you really want to. It will probably be rather draining on your pockets.
The MaterialThe materials are basically metals. Or, "Steel". For extra cost, Steel can be coated with counterxenology acid-proofing coating. Some constructions cost more steel than others and are sized up as "Medium" Steel Sheets. Feel free to make furniture from one sheet (Chairs, tables, beds, etc.)
Obviously, beds would need cloth, which comes in Bolts (of cloth) and will also only cost one bolt per furniture.
Example:"I want to construct a small hut with a walled compound."
This would cost around 10 steel sheets for the hut, 20 for the walls and 10 for the gate. Then a number of extra steel sheets and bolts of cloth for furniture. I'm not going to draw up a huge list of constructions costs, and i'll leave it to your common sense - don't build a metropolis with 10 steel sheets, don't build a one-roomed hut with 200 steel sheets.
