Robin's History Bundle
A blast to the past with 30 fantastic source codes for your viewing pleasure.

So, what does this amazing package contain? Well, pretty much every milestone source code released since 2001. We have Mirage, Konfuze, Elysium and all the other off-shoots, engines and games from that era. It also comes with a free copy of Crystalshire: Developer's Edition. How cool is that?

Each folder contains the source code, resources, license agreements (where necessary) and a 'README.txt' file which gives some brief history of the source code as well as lists any developers and bugs.

Here's the full list.

Just going to leave some history here too, Robin has been giving me little updates on what the whole situation with Mark and the others are doing. I myself haven't been able to keep entirely up-to-date with what has been going on very much, like how everyone has seemingly lost trust or respect in Robin? (Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm taking a guess), but I do find it quite hilarious how these people have the audacity to claim work we did together as far back as 2006 is their own - released in 2011!

Robin and I go way back, when he was making one of his first projects and I was really into it. I then started exploring Eclipse Evolution & Konfuze at the time. A few years later, Robin and I started working together. This was over 5 years ago or around that, I guess the only work I did with which left its mark in this 'history' is Essence. But over the years we've spent countless hours collaborating over the net, working with him really helped me push myself as a designer.

Thanks for the mention, Robin. I'm glad you've enjoyed it as much as the rest of us have. Let's just continue doing what we do best. ;]

Also, thanks Robin, I am one of those people who sat there quietly learning the basics of Origins, and this is great. Appreciate it man.

Yo man, sorry to hear about your father. I wish my financial state was better than what it is because I do believe in helping those who've helped me, but I'm in some bad times with it all. So all I really can do is say thank you.

I try not to do the things that others do but, graphics, art, and engines, well I don't go on someones game and rip any of that but people do and people will always continue to, a wise quote from Ambard would be - "Those who do steal won't get anywhere anyways".

But, I got respect for you cause you brought eclipse to the state of stable. I tore your engine up and shit and I'm still getting a local to 40 ping, funny - but it goes to show that Eclipse Origins already have outlasted the rest I've messed with.

To make a long story short, this was just supposed to be a thank you note with a "duck them" note at the end. Do what you love to do and don't let these people stop you.

Anyways, thanks for the bundle Robin. You never know, maybe you'll get more donations now.... Meh, we can hope can't we? ~
Eclipse going 3D is like Robin and me getting married, He wants it, but it just won't happen.
Tell your friend to stop sticking his dick in stuff he doesn't understand.

Robin, your suggestion would cause extinction of human race.

Robin, I'm sorry I was a little shit once and started an argument... I am just a very stubborn person and I sometimes don't realise how much of an arsehole I can be. :/. You must either have a very high idiot threshold or spend a lot of time high. Most probably a combination of the two. I think I speak for all of the Eclipse community when I say that we appreciate how much effort you put in to get crap from us nublets <3

Robin, I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I watched my mother take pills and drugs day after day, until she overdosed, my father beat me most of my life, and then I watched my grandmother die infront of my from congestive heart failure, nothing I could really do to prevent these things from happening, so can relate to your situation. I'm sorry about your financial state. I've been in poverty all my life, still am, so I know how rough that can be. I really wish people wouldn't claim your work as their own, you truely are a gifted programmer, and I appreciate everything you've done for us as a community. I do hope your father gets well and you get a good paying career, where you can live without poverty.

Hope you get the best.

Telling it like it is. Damn shame though.

Keep on going Robin, Crystalshire is still within the top games made with Origins. That alone should speak for itself.

Wishing you and your dad the best.

Some of these projects won't even run. They're there for educational reasons.

I.E Taking bits of code out of them and implementing them into other engines..? Would this be possible?

I'm also guessing that CS:DE will now be Eclipse's industry standard or will it remain a seperate entity from Eclipse?
